2008 NFL Week 4 Sunday Night Odds - NFL Sports Betting Picks

The 2008 NFL Week 4 schedule page for the National Football League. This page contains all NFL Week 4 Picks and TV schedules.

NFL Football Week 4 Predictions

Sunday Night Football - Philadelphia -3 At Chicago

The Eagles will head to Soldier Field to battle the Chicago Bears this Sunday night, September 28th. Place all your bets today and watch all the intense action at 8:15 PM EST Nation-wide on NBC.

Sunday Night Philadelphia vs. Chicago - In general the public has been betting strongly in favor of Philadelphia.

Currently that line is -3 in favor of the Eagles, so we exepect it to move to -3.5 or -4. So how does this affect our bet? If we were to bet on Philadelphia to win, then we would bet now since we expect the odds on them to get worse as the public favors them in their betting. If on the other hand we planned on betting on Chicago to win, then we would wait until later in the week and place our bet when the Bears to win gets better odds.

The Chicago Bears take on the Philadelphia Eagles in week 4. What does Brian Westbrook's possible injury mean to the Bears?

The Eagles are a different team without Westbrook and it could be a tough test for Donovan McNabb if Westbrook doesn’t play Sunday night.

NFL week three game the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Steelers 15-6 improving to a 2-1 record. The Eagles 2008 team leaders include; quarterback Donovan McNabb completing 70 passes on 105 attempts for 838 yards with 5 touchdowns, running back Brian Westbrook leads in rushing with 42 carries for 161 yards with three touchdowns and wide receiver DeSean Jackson leads in receiving with 17 receptions for 256 yards. Last season the Philadelphia Eagles finished in last place in their NFC East conference with an 8-8 regular season record.

Last week the Chicago Bears lost 27-24 to the Buccs. The last two games have been a big disappointment to Bears fans everywhere. During the last two games against the Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Bears have managed to let a significant lead disappear late in the game. Week two was gut wrenching in week two, but to have the same outcome in week three was heartbreaking.

If the Bears hope to have any chance this Sunday, Kyle Orton can’t afford to make any careless turnovers and Matt forte will need to average over five yards a carry, as in week one. If Chicago can get the run game going, look for Orton to take some
chances deep to his favorite receiver Brandon Lloyd and hopefully find his tight ends Greg Olsen and veteran Desmond Clark.

Philly over Chicago (The only thing looking positive for the Chicago Bears match up against the Philadelphia Eagles is the injury to Brian Westbrook.) More Week 4 NFL Predictions Here
